About the group

We go into schools to talk about how people with learning difficulties want to be treated. We have all been bullied at school. We are trying to change people’s minds about learning disability. We practise our presentations. We think of creative activities to get the children to join in with us and get to know us.

We work together as equals. Everyone gets the chance to be heard. We learn skills in making presentations and speaking up. We make friends. We get more confident. We help change things for the better in the community.
